What to Expect

What can you expect at Emmaus Church on Sunday evenings at the YMCA in Bothell (the YMCA may not specifically endorse Emmaus Church nor it activities)?
Casual Atmosphere- Come dressed casually. If you’re wearing a suit, you’ll be overdressed and people will think you’re the pastor.
Relevant Style and Sermons- You don’t have to check your brain in at the door….sermons that make you think, challenge the status quo, inspire change,and encourage you to enter God’s story will be the norm.
Good Music- Not too loud, not to soft. Contemporary. Fun. Energetic. Contemplative. We’ll go unplugged some Sundays. Other Sundays we’ll have a full band. It’ll be a good blend of consistency and variety for your participating pleasure.
A Place for Kids- Your kids will love the fully furnished and clean nursery and pre-school at the YMCA. 
Elementary school kids will go wild for the play area at the YMCA. All of our workers have had background checks and are educated to provide the best environment for your child to grow in every way!
A Place to be Healthy- Forget the donuts and cookies at most churches….we’re going green and healthy! You’ll find healthy snacks and beverages here. Fruit, veggies, water, and healthy snacks will be the norm, not the exception (ladies…dark chocolate IS healthy for you!)
